K. Gaines is known in NYC's indie hip-hop scene as a bit of a wild man. Heck, his latest album, which was produced by 2 Hungry Bros, is titled Rumspringa: the Wildman Chronicles.

That said, K. Gaines also has an intellectual side, and with his latest single, "Neon Black," the wild man shows he's also a wise man.

In a statement, K. Gaines said of the song, and video, "Racial tensions with police are at an all time high in America.
