NYC Scene Report - Columboid, Hillary Capps, YC The Cynic, & more


One of the great thing about keeping a watch on a place like New York City is that not only is there always a place to grab food no matter what hour it is, you can enjoy just about every genre of music on any given night of the week. Does this spoil us? Sure, of course it does, but the good news is it also gives us plenty to talk about.

For this week's Neighborhood Watch: NYC, we're talking about the Holy Smokes! Music and Arts Festival, the singer-songwriter stylings of Hillary Capps, and David Bronson, two hip-hop artists who couldn't be less alike in YC The Cynic and Champagne Jerry, the pop music of Ashley Allen, and Erica Jacob's new dance inspiring tune. Leading everything off, however, is quite possibly the coolest video you'll see all week, and it comes from experimental rockers Columboid.
