Vid Pick: Illus w/ Apathy - Forever
Friday, October 19, 2012

When Illus and Apathy get together, like they do on “Forever,” it’s almost impossible for it not to become all about the emcee skills. It seems as though they inspire each other, and as the lyrical display on “Forever” shows, the results are straight up awesome. Throw in Apathy’s classic boom-bap production, and scratches by none other than DJ Johnny Juice from Public Enemy, and you have a real hip-hop head’s song. Enjoy!
