What Happens to an Artist When Their Record Label Folds

Last night I finished "Black Mass" and I have to say it's a phenomenal book. The investigative reporting that had to be done to create such a work is what really strikes me, probably because I'm a journalist, and I have a lot of respect for the authors.

My Mark Ronson and Chingy interviews went up on ReactMag.com today so go read them, right now! LOL. It's weird, I know I'm good at what I do, but sometimes I still get a little depressed about things. Maybe it's because I know I'm good, and everyone tells me I'm good, even my contacts, but I'm still looking for that "big time" job. Another factor may be the fact that this month has been slow in terms of interviews.

Oddly enough, my Mets have been the source of a lot of my happiness recently. We seem to be on a tear right now and watching them play is fun again. Jose Reyes seems to be the real deal (knock on wood), and with Mikey (Piazza) back we could maybe even make a run at mediocrity! Normally being mediocre would annoy me, but this year it would be a huge accomplishment.
