Karina Aims to Make You “Lust” With New Single

Los Angeles-based rising pop star Karina will be releasing her latest single, “Lust,” as a free download on October 20th.
An edgy mix of pop and electronic music, Karina wrote the dance floor-ready “Lust” from the perspective of her male friends.
“Most of my friends are guys,” she explains, “and I’ve always been the one that comes by the day after, and gets to hear about what happened the night before. I tried to put myself in their shoes, trying to understand what that hunt was all about, that inner animal that basically just needs to feed – it can’t help itself ... it’s an addiction.”
Karina has become an addiction for her growing fan base, which includes over 35k followers on Twitter, and over 12k followers on Instagram.
Those numbers are especially impressive considering Karina grew up in a town of just 3,000 in Norway (the same country that gave us ‘80s luminaries a-ha, and recent faves Röyksopp, and Nico & Vinz).
“Lust” follows Karina's previous singles, “Snap,” and “Rebellion,” as she continues to prep for the release of her debut EP, which is due out in early 2017.
