On a recent episode of my podcast, The Drunk Train, LA Symphony emcee CookBook discussed his upcoming EP, A Whole New Cook, which is a collaborative effort with Evidence that will be released on March 4th. Today, I'm happy to announce the title track off of A Whole New Cook is here, and it's ridiculously dope.
Not only is "A Whole New Cook" a great song, the video is highly creative, as it opens with CookBook transported back in time. Confused to see a flip phone in his hand, he finds himself in a room covered in posters, and stickers.
While the song, and EP, may advertise "A Whole New Cook," fans can rest assured that when it comes to his lyrics, he's still the CookBook we all know and love. Check out the video, and if you missed my podcast with him, check that out, too! We had A LOT of fun recording it.
B-Listers are a select group of artists that were featured in my Artist Of The Week series that ran every Monday from April of '06 to April of '11. All of these artists have two things in common; extreme talent, and a flight path far too under the radar for my liking. They took on the title of B-Listers as they embraced being featured by me, Adam B. Check out the AOTW Archives for all the interviews.
