Vid Pick: Conscious - Slow It Down [Pseudo Pop]
Friday, June 06, 2014

With his videos, Conscious is an artist who continues to prove that creativity, and simplicity, aren't necessarily artistic dichotomies. His latest effort, the just under two minute "Slow It Down [Pseudo Pop]", features footage of a ferris wheel, and the traffic in front of it, moving forward, and being rewound, as Conscious launches into the lone verse of the song with, "It was so intense, had to break the fourth wall / escape the play, jump off the stage," in what has become his trademark poetic style of lyric writing.

As of now, "Slow It Down [Pseudo Pop]" is a one-off, available as a download on bandcamp for "name your price." The price point is yet another way Conscious refuses to limit his art.
