Vid Pick: K. Gaines - Kung Fu Chaos



K. Gaines just released this video for his song “Kung Fu Chaos” earlier this week, and I have to say it’s an easy nominee for video of the year. There is no way you can watch this clip about a kindly bum who is a kung fu expert that will fight for justice for a handful of change, and not crack a smile. Don’t let the humor let you lose sight of K. Gaines’ skills as an emcee, though. The Sleepwalkas member is a top notch lyricist on the mic, which is another aspect of “Kung Fu Chaos” that makes it such a perfect music video. As an added bonus the clip finds an inspirational way to use a black and white cookie (yes, I’m doing the entire Seinfeld bit in my head right now)! Enjoy!
