Vid Pick: Klokwize - Build & Destroy
Friday, August 30, 2013

Klokwize has figured out the magic formula for how to make a hip-hop band work. The key is that neither the hip-hop aspect, nor the band aspect, is used to get the other one over. A lot of times when you come across hip-hop bands that’s the case, it will be an emcee that needs a band to get noticed, or vice versa. Klokwize, as an emcee, could do just fine on his own, as could his band, which is why when you put them together for a song like their just released “Build & Destroy,” it ends up really dope. “Build & Destroy” is off of Klokwize’s upcoming album, The Art Of Falling Apart, which is due out this fall, and if the rest of the album is anything like the single, it’s something worth looking forward to.
