Vid Pick: Lily and the Parlour Tricks - Made For Radio
Friday, June 28, 2013

You’ve probably never heard anything quite like Lily and the Parlour Tricks (unless you read my interview with them earlier this year). A very cool mix of the old and the new, the band expertly toes the line between making you think you’ve been transported decades into the past, and having you know you’re at a modern day rock show. Led by their charismatic lead singer, Lily, whose facial expressions sell every lyric perfectly, Lily and the Parlour Tricks is a band you should really see live, which is why even though they have music videos out, the one I’m choosing this week is a live performance clip of their song “Made For Radio.” It’s a cheeky tune you can’t help but enjoy.
