Illus makes great, positive, but not preachy, hip-hop. For “Extraordinary,” which features Blueprint, he looks to show that superheroes are all around us. The idea is that we can find the extraordinary in the everyday, and lead by example. Even something as simple lending a helping hand can make a person someone else’s superhero, so we all have the capacity to be extraordinary. The beat Illus and Blueprint rhyme over is pretty extraordinary, as well, so you’ll want to crank this one up.
