The Limousines Talk Tour & Sex Gods

When The Limousines perform, fans get a heck of a show. Music, smoke, lights, and giant confetti filled balloons that are just waiting to be burst and have their contents rain down on the audience are just a few of the things the Bay Area duo of vocalist/songwriter Eric Victorino (pictured Right) and producer Giovanni Giusti provide when they hit the stage.

The duo, despite being from the same section of Northern California, actually started their musical partnership thanks to the internet. A mutual friend in England introduced Victorino to Giusti’s music and the two artists then started conversing over email. One thing led to another and The Limousines were born. One viral sensation, “Internet Killed The Video Star,” one album, Get Sharp, and a whole lot of live performances later, The Limousines have created a foothold for themselves in the electro-rock subgenre, and have a rapidly growing fan base.

The Limousines will be expanding that fan base even further when they tour Europe with The Sounds and Kids at the Bar from January 26th through March 3rd. Before the duo finished packing for that trip, however, I caught up with Victorino to find out more about The Limousines, in what way he compares Giusti to a hooker, and what some of his favorite musical memories have been as a fan.
