Vid Pick: Corina Corina – Disappointment

R&B artist Corina Corina has been a longtime favorite here at Adam's World, as she always pours her soul into her music. For her latest single, "Disappointment," she isn't just singing her emotions, she's rapping them, as well.

Corina Corina says of "Disappointment," "I’ve been performing this song on tours for over a year, and it always feels amazing to channel that level of raw emotion into the mic. It is the reflection of frustration of years of hard work – putting shows together, sleeping on couches, and working multiple jobs, all for the sake of having my voice heard."

She adds that the video is a direct reflection of the song, saying, "Given its aggressive punk rock nature, I chose the legendary Bay Area DIY venue 924 Gilman as the setting. Simple and stripped down, director Bryan BLeev Lee and I weren’t concerned with making me look pretty, or poised. This piece is all about authenticity and raw emotion."

"Disappointment" is off of Corina Corina's upcoming EP, Run the Blues, which is a tribute to Run the Jewels, as evidenced by "Disappointment" using the instrumental from the Run the Jewels song "Job Well Done." After checking out the song, and the video, "Job Well Done" is also my reaction to "Disappointment."
