Many in NYC's indie music scene know Silent Knight as the frontman for The Band Called FUSE. The group has numerous Kickstarter successes, and a kick ass monthly hip-hop / soul rock event named The Line Up.
In addition to his work with the band, Silent Knight is also an extremely accomplished solo artist. This is something he proves once again with his latest project, an EP titled Weaknd, which he's made available as a free download. Check out the video for the first single, "Walking," and hear why whether he's with his group, or on his own, Silent Knight is someone worth being vocal about.
If you like what you hear, and want to check him out live, this Saturday, Silent Knight, and his band, will be celebrating the five year anniversary of The Line Up. The show will take place at the Sidewalk Cafe in NYC, which has been its home for a number of years, and will kick off at 10:30pm. Predictably, it will feature a fantastic lineup.
B-Listers are a select group of artists that were featured in my Artist Of The Week series that ran every Monday from April of '06 to April of '11. All of these artists have two things in common; extreme talent, and a flight path far too under the radar for my liking. They took on the title of B-Listers as they embraced being featured by me, Adam B. Check out the AOTW Archives for all the interviews.
