When the Nat Osborn Band performs sometimes it looks like the stage is going to explode with musicians. When bands like that have tight arrangements, and top tier talent, it’s one of the most beautiful things in the world. Nat Osborn and his soulful, jazzy, funky crew are all of that, and more (and hopefully you read all about Osborn when I wrote about him earlier this year). Their album, The King and The Clown, is one of my favorites of 2013, and I can honestly say they’re one of the best live experiences going in music today. If you want proof, check out this clip of the band performing “Fire In The Wind.” If you can’t get into this you should seriously consider consulting a hearing doctor, or a soul doctor, and if the latter doesn’t exist, it should be invented!
B-Listers are a select group of artists that were featured in my Artist Of The Week series that ran every Monday from April of '06 to April of '11. All of these artists have two things in common; extreme talent, and a flight path far too under the radar for my liking. They took on the title of B-Listers as they embraced being featured by me, Adam B. Check out the AOTW Archives for all the interviews.
