Jesse Abraham - His Music Changes, But His Honesty Stays The Same


When an artist has multiple successful projects early in their career, sometimes it's hard for them to stray from what's been working. Brooklyn emcee Jesse Abraham could have ended up stuck in such a rut after 2010's Bars & NoBull and 2011's One Day brought him notoriety in and around the NYC area, and his humorous videos for "Yoga," "Little Bit of Everything" and "Spiderman on Vitamins" were viewed by tens of thousands. In 2011, he took home the lyricist of the year honor at the Underground Music Awards.

Nobody would have blamed Abraham if he had just kept doing what he was doing, but he wasn't content with being stagnant, which is why his upcoming album I Am Water, which is due out in the fall, will show listeners another side of Jesse Abraham.
