I'm In Porn Now

OK, so here’s the deal. I write up all my blogs on my computer before adding them to the site. Unfortunately my computer is infected by devils and the last blog I wrote up was completely erased when my computer just decided to make my word processing program disappear from my screen. When I rebooted my blog was gone. I’m not even going to try to retype the whole thing the same way it was, but I will attempt to give some of the same info.

Apologies for the lack of an update, I’ve been wrapped up in a little something called the ALCS. Praise the Lord the Red Sox not only won, but completely embarrassed the yank-me’s, making the yanks the biggest losers in the history of professional sports. Nobody’s ever collapsed like that. It really was a thing of beauty.

In other news involving beauty, I’m now working in porn. No, it’s not what you think (at least it probably isn’t what you think). In actuality I’m now freelancing for Fish N Grits magazine, the world’s first Hip-Hop porno mag! YES! This is a healthy addition to my current freelance work which includes Elemental magazine, the current issue of which features my interview with Wale Oyejide.

In non work related news I did something crazy this Tuesday, OK not too crazy, but I met up with someone in person that I had met on MySpace. I had been talking with the girl for a while now and we met up for coffee (in my case tea) at a local bookstore. To say things went well would be an understatement. We ended up talking for nearly three hours and our personalities meshed very well. At the very least I can tell I’m going to be friends with this girl.

Tonight I’m going out with another female friend of mine. My parents gave me tickets to see Steven Wright (yes, my parents rock!) so I’m heading out to see him then grab some grub with my friend. It’s strange, this is a girl who said she couldn’t date me for a variety of reasons, so I’m really not sure what to expect from the night, but at least I know I’ll be getting to see a great comedian and having someone else (a restaurant) cook for me.

My neighbors are going to be thrilled with the latest thing I’ve received to review (please note the sarcasm), it’s called "Get On Da Mic" and it’s an interactive rap video game for the PS2. It comes with a mic you plug into the PS2 and you have to rap your way through each level. I honestly can’t wait to make a fool of myself playing it. It sounds like a lot of fun and the type of thing we’d plug in at a party when in a crazy mood (or a little tipsy).

Final Thought: Who’s Your Papi! (had to get in another dig at all the yank-me fans out there)
